Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale

  1. It is generally recognized that even after employing all the science known to us, and having capable people with years of training, there will remain risks in the metal finishing field. Therefore, in order to avoid misunderstandings, Plating for Electronics LLC has adopted the following Terms and Conditions.
  2. We warrant that the processing and finishing shall meet the customers specification as supplied in writing with the order and that such processing and finishing shall be free from defect in material and workmanship. If the customer specifies methods and procedures to be followed, we will assume no responsibility for the correctness of such methods and procedures or the result when they are followed.
  3. Our liability for any cause is limited to the cost of direct labor and material of product loss or directly damaged by our processing or one times (1x) our processing charge on such material, whichever is the lesser. Our charges are based on this policy limiting liability. Compensation will only be given in the form of a credit toward future work unless agreed upon in writing prior to processing.
  4. No claims for defects or shortages will be allowed, unless presented in writing within ten (10) working days after receipt of material.
  5. There will be no liability on the part of Plating for Electronics LLC for any special, indirect, or consequential damages arising from any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of production, recall or any other losses, expenses or liabilities allegedly occasioned by the work performed on the part of Plating for Electronics LLC.
  6. Quotations are open for acceptance thirty (30) days from issuance. After thirty (30) days, prices and terms are subject to change without notice, unless otherwise specified.
  7. Payment terms are Net 30 Days. Invoices unpaid after 45 days shall be subject to a Finance Charge computed by a monthly rate of 1.5% on the delinquent balance until the invoice is paid in full.
  8. The provisions hereof constitute the entire agreement between the parties. Any changes, alterations, waivers, or modifications with respect to the job performed or the terms of the sales, or any other matter set forth herein must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the company. These terms and conditions shall apply to any order or agreement for the processing of any material.
